Sponsored by Lyn Ayer of Coeur d'Esprit Natural Perfumes, the 2015 Summer Challenge was to create the scent of the Ambridge Rose flower using certain essential oils, mixed in a floral based alcohol blend. SUMMER AFTERNOON PERFUME was inspired by a quote by the great Henry James: "Summer afternoon, summer afternoon to me those have always been the two most beautiful words in the English language." SUMMER AFTERNOON PERFUME is a floral fragrance without being too sweet, a beautiful fresh powder rose fragrance with just enough spice from a clove bud to make it interesting!
