East by Akro is a Oriental fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. East was launched in 2023. The nose behind this fragrance is Olivier Cresp. Top note is Raspberry; middle notes are Agarwood (Oud) and Leather; base note is Ambroxan. For Olivier Cresp, co-founder of Akro, travel is every bit as addictive as coffee or chocolate. Olivier first got the travel bug working as an international perfumer, travelling the world, meeting clients and discovering new flavours and aromas along the way. To this day, he travels as much as he can, constantly finding inspiration and community in every part of the globe. One of Olivier’s favourite places to go is the United Arab Emirates, a place of deep intrigue and power - and one which comes with its distinct set of scents. For Olivier, this part of the world is forever connected with the scent of oud, the rich and mysterious woody oil that is burned all over this region. In tribute to the UAE, and his own addiction to travel, Olivier has come up with a new fragrance: EAST, a perfume inspired by the street markets of Dubai and the welcoming homes all over the Emirates.
