Zelen by Boka is a fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Zelen was launched in 2023. The nose behind this fragrance is Boris Zrnic. Top notes are Lime, Yuzu and Bergamot; middle notes are Pink Pepper, Beeswax and Cardamom; base notes are Haitian Vetiver, Virginia Cedar and Mysore Sandalwood. “Zelen” translates to “green” in Serbian. This scent is Vetiver, as it was meant to be celebrated. It is refined, elegant, and classic. Teeming with balanced bittersweet Pink Peppercorn and Italian Bergamot spice, underscored by effervescent Green Cardamom. Delicate yet demanding. Transcendent Mexican Lime and fragrant Beeswax Absolute bound in the warm, musky embrace of Haitian Vetiver, Mysore Sandalwood and Virginia Cedar. Capped with Italian Carrara marble, Zelen is perennial and epicene. Perfume is often cited as the most intense form of memory. It conjures images and events, a cinematic experience all of your own making. The Serbian heritage of our founder and perfumer, Boris Zrnic, defines Boka’s entire lexicon. “Boka” is the affectionate childhood nickname used by his family and immediately became the working title of our scent collection. Boris spent much of his childhood in nature—the other primary pillar of the brand. The world’s natural wonders seep heavily into our scents, as nearly every fragrance note derives from an element found in nature. We hope these scents spark your sense of nostalgia in nature.
