In the year of the 180th anniversary of existence of Guerlain, beautiful flacon of their seductress, Shalimar Yellow Gold limited Edition, was presented. This is the successor of amazing Shalimar from 1925, which evokes and expresses lust and was inspired by gardens of love, elation and passion. The woman who dares to wear it, most certainly excites you with her femininity and sensuality. New, golden edition is very appropriate for the enviable anniversary the house is celebrating: opulent and special, created in matt gold colour, with transparent golden belts which reveal gentleness and grace of the flacon. In honour of love between Shah Shahjahan and his wife Mumtaz Mahal, Jacques Guerlain created a fragrant saga which has been passed on from one generation to another. According to the legend, before emperor Shahjahan received the title, his name was Prince Khurram. The prince met beautiful Arjumaand Banu at an open market by pure case, since her family had a store there. He was impressed and enchanted by her. When he became an emperor, he proclaimed her the only woman in the castle - Mumtaz Mahal, and he built the Taj Mahal as the symbol of their eternal love. Her favourite garden was known as "Gardens of Shalimar", or gardens of love. This edition was therefore created with an aim to be worth such magnificent love story and strong emotions. The new edition was presented in October 2008 and named Shalimar Yellow Gold Limited Edition Eau de Parfum. The perfume is available in an extremely opulent edition in amount of 50 ml EDP.
