About This Fragrance

Eau de Cologne Hermes by Hermès is a Aromatic Fruity fragrance for women and men. Eau de Cologne Hermes was launched in 1953. The nose behind this fragrance is Edmond Roudnitska. Top notes are Mandarin Orange, Lemon, Basil, Mint, Bergamot, Coriander, Papaya and Mango; middle notes are Orange Leaf, Lavender, Rosemary, Neroli, Honeysuckle and Lily-of-the-Valley; base notes are Cedar, Oakmoss, Sandalwood, Patchouli and Musk. The fragrance was created by Edmond Roudnitska and released in 1953. This is his second and last work for Hermès. The first was Eau d'Hermès (1951). Cologne was produced until 1968 or 1969, then several limited editions were released in the mid-70s. The 1979 version, which appeared at different times under the names Eau de Cologne Hermès and Eau d'Orange Verte, is a relaunch accompanied by reformulation. Françoise Caron was involved in the project, and Roudnitska advised her. These are fragrances of the same direction, but different - first of all, with a noticeable difference in the base accords. The modern Eau d'Orange Verte was developed by Jean–Claude Ellena in 2009. (explanation from Tyrvasia Argyraki)
